Joss & Main: The Winter Edit

The Joss & Main winter issue is here to inspire celebration ahead. Whether in person or virtual, we live for the glitz, glamour, hustle, and hosting. These 5 winter looks are inspired by the luxury of the season – all made achievable. In this imagery, art directed by Jess Ginsberg, expect moody marble, velvet on velvet, and overstuffed upholstery. Partnering with our creative and merchandising teams, I drive the operation and production of omni-channel content. Here's a look at some imagery from the winter catalog project.

THE 1920s ARE BACK WITH A TWIST

Jazz. Fringe. Drama. Fashion. This decade knew how to celebrate in style, and we’re ready to do the same. Only now, we’re taking a “less is more” approach by grounding Gatsby glamour in everyday life. It’s 1920s elegance meets 2020s ease. The perfect mix of maximal and minimal, luxury and livability.

DINING IS GETTING DECADE

If you’re anything like us, the holidays are the perfect excuse to cook something fancy and set the table to match – even if it’s just for two. Before you pour a glass of bubbly, indulge in our best-kept tablescaping secrets. We’re sharing how to dress your dining spaces to impress.

NEUTRALS ARE RICHER THAN EVER

We’re craving a more dynamic palette of neutrals to match this winter’s indulgent mood. Turn up the dial on browns and greiges by choosing rich pieces that leave a lasting impression. Think carved wood and woven leather, angular lines and sculptural curves. These low-contrast finds lend eye-catching layers of dimension.

LITTLE IS THE NEW TAKE ON LUXURY

Indulgence doesn’t have to mean over the top. This season, treat yourself to something little that fulfills your style and lifts your spirits. Maybe you buy one too many candlesticks simply because you like them all. Or maybe you revamp the guest room pillows because what’s a holiday season if not covered in velvet?

A FRESH PERSPECTIVE ON UPHOLSTERY

The holiday season keeps everyone on their toes. But even the busiest merrymaker needs somewhere to cozy up – without sacrificing aesthetic. For the perfect blend of fancy and fresh, we’re turning to upholstery inspired by decades past. Take a cue from your closet of sweaters. When it comes to living room furniture, the oversized look is undeniably effortless (and completely necessary for movie nights in).
